I would like to introduce myself as Simlee (Final Year MBA). I am writing this letter to you as one of those students who patronize the cafeteria. This is because it serves food through the day and it is quite spacious and airy and has an old world charm to it.
However, I would like to suggest a few pointers for its betterment. Firstly, the menu could be changed on a rotational basis; I’ve noticed that it hasn’t changed in the last 6 years. Newer food items can be introduced. Secondly, more counters to pick up the food could be opened during the peak hours. Postgraduate students like us tend to come in late as we are stuck with our research work and by the time we jostle and reach the counter, it takes a while. In addition, please also ensure that the waiters and cleaners are wearing hygienic clothing items like gloves, aprons etc., This gives a sense of total cleanliness too.
I now sincerely hope that these suggestions are considered by you and implemented as soon as possible so that it would benefit all of us.
Note: A formal letter - the following elements have been infused into the letter
1. What we like.
2. What is the problem
3. Possible resolution.Vocabulary adhering to the topic has been used. Use of 3 simple paragraphs to achieve the task has been used. Cohesiveness and grammatical accuracy too has been achieved.
